   Check the website’s history through Google or any reputable search engine.If the website owners name is available Google that to see what you can find out about the owner.
   You may want to think about installing the toolbar from http://www.seoquake.com on your browser. This is a great tool for checking things like the age of the site, the Alexa and Google rank,a Whois search of the site and what other sites that they are linked to.
